ALKALI ACTIVATED CEMENTS Part I

Lecturer: prof. Angel Palomo
Date: September 14, 2019
Time: 9:00 – 16:00
Price: EUR 40/ per person incl. VAT
The first day we will deal with the main and general concepts supporting the Alkaline Activation of materials. It means: Chemistry of alkaline cements; mechanisms of reactions; development of microstructure and development of mechanical strengths in pastes, mortars and concretes; rheological considerations; durable characteristics; etc.
